Description de la scolarité secondaire
'O'level en 4 années;
- La filière
rapide ("express") pour les élèves (45%
environ) supposés pouvoir réussir le CGE Ordinary
'O' level avec au moins trois GCE 'O' level à l'issue des
quatre années);
'A' level examination.
d'administration.

Stages and Organization of
Higher Education Studies
Higher vocational/technical studies
The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) was set
up in 1992. It provides full-time institutional training for school
leavers and offers part-time Continuing Education and Training (CET)
programmes for adults already in employment. The training available
includes two-year full-time post GCE 'O' level courses leading to
certificates. Four polytechnics provide middle-level technical training.
They offer a wide range of certificate, diploma and advanced diploma
courses in various fields of studies. The main courses available
are 3-year-post GCE 'O' level or 2-year post-GCE 'A' level diplomas
and 2-year part-time advanced diplomas for holders of a polytechnic
diploma and relevant work experience.
University level studies

require four years, architecture (excluding a year out for practical
experience) and medicine five.
Stage 2:

degree is obtained after a minimum of one year of postgraduate study.
Candidates must hold a good honours degree and submit a thesis.
