Association des Grandes Ecoles de la Région Nord-Pas
de Calais
= Association of Grandes Ecoles of the North-Pas de Calais Region
is a group of twenty-four Grandes Ecoles of journalism and management as
well as of engineering.
There is a great diversity among the schools: Not only do they have different
domains of instruction, but they are supervised by different ministries
and accept students at a variety of levels. Because of the number and diversity
of the Grandes Ecoles, the schools are able to maintain a variety of exchanges
between instructors that are enriching both for professors and for students.
The schools are also full partners in the university research programs sponsored
by the CNRS and the INRA. Many of the schools accept and supervise thesis
students in addition to their regular programs.
The Grandes Ecoles are able to offer their students strong placement programs
thanks to their strong ties to industry. Internships and final projects
allow the schools to provide industry with applied research and technical
support as well as training for employees. The Grandes Ecoles continue to
adapt to the needs of industry by creating new specialties each year correpsonding
to new jobs and technologies.
The Ecoles participate in exchanges of students and instructors both within
Europe and worldwide.
