Programme de base MBA
- Foundation courses and Orientation (2 weeks plus pre-MBA
e-learning)
As a result of this first phase, participants will emerge with an understanding
of essential principles of individual and team effectiveness through a process
of coached action, experimentation and reflection.
There will also be an opportunity
to complete a course of fundamentals on certain core academic subjects, according
to individual experience and need.
- The Individual, the Corporation and Society (ICS)
module (3 weeks)
Becoming
a global entrepreneur demands that you transcend the classical business
topics such as ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ by expanding
your knowledge of history, philosophy, ethics and geopolitics.
This module
will take you on a four – stage journey of discovery developing,
on the way, your powers of critique, reasoning and systemic thinking
- Integrated modules (5 x 3 weeks)
Uniquely,
Theseus-EDHEC offers the core management subjects taught in an integrated
learning process.
Three professors will combine their teaching as a team
into one continuous experience for the participantscentred on a common
case, set of cases, or business project, according to the module theme.
Classroomtime will be minimised in favour of group work and discussion,
facilitated by the faculty.
Participants will conclude each module with an IntegratedAssignment – a
presentation or report on their learning experience across the module.
- Intermediary seminars (4 x 1 week)
Experts
from around the world will deliver one-week seminars on ‘hot’management
topics: leadership; ethics; risk management and technology trends are some examples
- Business simulation (2 weeks)
Participants
will apply their acquired knowledge to the management of a virtual company
operating in a complex multinational environment, competing with each other
in company ‘teams’.
- Knowledge streams (4x2 weeks, some electives)
Knowledge streams are in-depth seminars on current multi-disciplinary issues
taught by a faculty drawn from academia, business and society.
They allow you
to develop your own expertise on the subject by exposing you to diverse opinion
from thought leaders.
- Consulting project (8 weeks)
Team
consulting projects, under the supervision of a faculty member, are carried
out at clients’ sites worldwide.
Participants
apply the skills they have acquired to a strategic customer issue. Recent sponsors
of TheseusEDHEC consulting projects include Philips, Ericsson, HP Compaq, IBM,
Oracle, France Telecom, etc...
