soit du rejet, soit d'une invitation aux entretiens personnels sur le site
- The personal interview is a critical stage in our
selection process. We only invite about one third of those who apply to be
interviewed by our Admissions Committee. The interview process is more than
just an interview but a complete evaluation process consisting of the following:
- An Impromptu Presentation: Once on campus, you will
be given a topic on which to prepare a five minute presentation. This
gives you an opportunity to demonstrate, amongst other things, your communication
and presentation skills.
- Case study: The IMD MBA includes extensive use of
case studies. Therefore, we have included a mini case study as part of
the interview both to give you a feel for our teaching methods as well
as to give us a feel as to how you will contribute in this kind of setting.
- Personal interview: Due to the small class size, we
want to be sure that we meet the person behind the application. A member
of the Admissions Committee or faculty conducts the interview with an
aim to getting to know you and developing a better understanding of your
career progression and key achievements.
- MBA class observation: Where possible, you will sit
in and observe first-hand our MBAs in the auditorium. As always, we want
to be sure that you have the opportunity to assess us and our teaching
style, just as we will be assessing you and your potential.
- Lunch with MBAs: This gives you a chance to talk to
our current participants and ask them any questions you may have about
their experiences
- Following your interview, the Admissions Committee re-discusses
your file, compares it to other applicants who have been interviewed, and
comes to a decision. Normally, within one month of the interview, we let you
know if you are among the select few to be accepted into the IMD MBA.†
