Its governance
CEMS is a non-profit association, governed by an Executive Board under the leadership of a Chairperson, supported by several Vice-Presidents. It meets twice a year to decide on the strategy, curriculum development and the budget. The board is made up of representatives from all sixteen universities and nine elected representatives from corporate partner companies. The Annual Meeting brings together all academic and corporate members and takes all decisions regarding issues such as admission, representation on the Executive Board and accounts.
The CEMS European Office is the permanent organisational body of CEMS. The team is headed up by an Executive Director who liaises closely with the elected Chairperson. It contributes to the development of the organisation in all its parts from co-operation with the corporate partners to internal and external communication to co-ordination of the CEMS Alumni Association.
