Content of the 4th semester
Basic technician internship
Generally
The Basic
technician internship is taking place in the 4th semester
It consists
of two block events and a practical activity which has to take at least 20
weeks(100 days)
The block
event can take place before the beginning of the 3rd semester until the end of
the internship. Therefore a written invitation has to be accepted, othwewise
you have to wait until the block event in the following year, which can extend
the University days.
The block
event is taking place at the University of Applied Science. The search and the
choice of the training post has to be resolved by the student. The trainee
office can be consulted by the students to find a suitable enterprise.
Before the
Basic technician internship begins, the training post has to be approved by the
trainee office. A copy of the approved training post has to be handed over to
the secretary`s office of the faculty “Fahrzeugtechnologie”
A relevant,
completed job training can be recognized as Basic technician internship
The aims of the training
* To
get to know the technical and social surrounding of an enterprise
* To
get to know the processes
* To
get to know the course from the evolution till the production of a product
* To
get to know the basics of mechanical, optical, electrical, electronical,
hydraulic and pneumatic components/products
* It
has to be guaranteed that the aims of the training will be achived
The course
Supplementary
to the two block events during the Basic technician internship, at the most six
colloquiums are taking place, where the students concerned are invited to
Report binder
It has to be
produced a report binder about the executed activity, it has handed over to the
trainee office at the latest 14 days after the beginning of the following
semester. Form and content, beginning and ending of the activity, and should
the occasion arise, time debit, has to be confirmed by the enterprise.
The construction of the report
A cover with
the name and information about the enterprise, locality of the enterprise,
period, the person who looks after the trainees at the working place, stamp and
the signature of the enterprise, the handing over date, the diploma of the
enterprise, an introduction with thanks to the enterprise and to the person who
looks after the trainees, explenation with relevant information about the aids,
used by the sudent.
A list of
contents with follwing structure 1st chapter: introduction of the enterprise
and their activities
2nd chapter:
chronological summary of the activities of the enterprise
3rd chapter:
reports of the activities
4th chapter:
enclosures, like drawings, wiring diagrams and functioning diagrams, which are
larger than DIN A4
The
acceptance of the report is guaranteed if the formal preconditions are
observed, and the report hasn`t grave ortographic faults
Colloquium
A ten minute
report has to be accounted on the content and the cours of the Basic technician
internship
